Description
All items despatched from us will be sent on a 24 hour delivery service by APC, ( WE DO NOT SEND PARCELS BY POST ). Deliveries will be made between 0800 – 1800 Monday to Friday. Saturday and timed deliveries are available at an additional cost. Prices on application, Channel Islands, Isle of weight, Guernsey, and some the Scottish Highlands are subject to extra charge.

We will make every effort to dispatch orders, if the parts are in stock the same day if possible. All prices quoted are subject to VAT at the current rate. Bacta members will receive free carriage charge for UK parcels only, if spending over £50.00 and the account is up to date according to our terms and conditions.

International deliveries will be dependent on destination. Prices on application. We use TNT express, otherwise you can you own carrier and account for the carriage charges.

Payment Terms

Our Credit terms are strictly 30 DAYS FROM DATE OF INVOICE unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to close your account if it runs over 30 days whereon it will go to a proforma or credit card account.

Advance Replacement Policy

Replacement items are are sold at a reduced rate on the understanding the replacement item is returned within 14 days from date of invoice. If not returned within 14 days of invoice date we will send an invoice for the full price of the item. If the replacement item is returned unrepairable or beyond economical repair we will issue another invoice for the full price of the item.

Postage of Returned Items

“PROOF OF DELIVERY” Credit is not applicable against disputed items that have been sent but not received unless proof of delivery can be provided. As the sender, you are responsible for guaranteeing the receipt of your item by acquiring POD. You are, therefore, liable for the debt if you cannot provide proof of delivery. In the event of a query we shall credit upon POD only.

“PROOF OF DESPATCH” does not constitute “Proof of Delivery”. This proves only that the items were sent. Should the item have gone astray you have a limited period in which you can claim from the post office. We strongly recommend that a service requiring a signature on receipt be used for your protection in the event of loss or damage. Courier, Registered or Recorded delivery is used to obtain “Proof of Delivery”.

Warranty

John Ferguson Spares Ltd provides itself on good customer service so if you do receive a part that is not working we will endeavour to send a replacement item to you as soon as possible according to stock levels. The replacement will be sent with a full priced invoice, upon inspection of the returned parts if no fault is found due to the customer is found a full credit note will be issued.

Returned goods

Items that are returned unwanted and that are not faulty to due a 15% + carriage handling if returned within 14 days.

Errors

John Ferguson Spares Ltd reserve the right to change prices or wording due any errors. Complaints John Ferguson Spares Ltd work hard to to achieve a good reputation amongst our customers and suppliers but if you do feel that you have been treated less than satisfactory please do not hesitate to contact Rachel Ferguson (Company Director) and your complaint will be dealt with swiftly.

All goods remain the property of John Ferguson Spares Ltd until there are paid for in full.

All goods must be paid for on checkout unless the customer hold an account. Accounts must be paid strictly within 30 days. We understand and will exercise our statutory right to interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Debts (Interest) Act 1998 if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms.
